The MS116-0.63 manual motor starter (also known as a motor protection switch or manual motor protector) is a compact 45 mm wide device with a rated operating current Ie = 0.63 A. This device is used for manually switching motors on and off and to protect them reliably and without the need for fuses against short circuits, overloads and phase failures. The manual starter offers a rated service short-circuit breaking capacity Ics = 50 kA at 400 VAC and a breaking class of 10A. Other features include an integrated disconnect function, temperature compensation, a trip-free mechanism and a rotary handle with clear switch position indication. The manual motor starter is suitable for three-phase and single-phase applications. Auxiliary contacts, signaling contacts, low-voltage releases, branching, 3-phase bus bars, power supply blocks and locking devices to protect against unauthorized changes are available as accessories.
